Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument, Seboeis Parcel

We explored the Seboeis Parcel of the Katahdin Woods and Waters National Monument today, driving the American Thread and Katahdin View Loop Roads and doing two very short walks.  

The first walk was the Twin Ponds Trail, a 0.15 mile walk leading to a beautiful secluded pond.

The second walk was the Kimball Deadwater Trail, a 0.08 mile walk leading to a wide section of Kimball Brook.  

Here is a map of both walks.   American Thread Road was easily drivable in my Rav4.  The Katahdin View Loop Road was also drivable, although tall grass in the center of the road continued brushing up against the bottom of my car
