Ecotat (Hermon)

I hiked 1.1 miles at Ecotat this morning for what could be the last hike of 2024.  With poor weather forecasted tomorrow and a busy schedule today,  I was grateful to have a place like this nearby and grateful to be able to make time, even if less than an hour. 

As I watched a pileated woodpecker peck away at a nearby tree, I reflected on what a great year 2024 was, despite some bumps along the way.   I also reflected on land trusts like Ecotat and how valuable they are to local communities.
