Medford Lagrange Rail Trail (Medford)

I hiked a portion of the Medford Lagrange Rail Trail near the Medford Town Office this morning.  Only 3-4 inches of wet snow covered the trail and the stream adjacent to it had open water, signs of the abnormally warm winter we have had. 

I parked at the town office and set off south on the trail.  After crossing two roads, the trail enters the woods and runs between Medford Center Road and Cold Stream.  Despite being near a road, the trail felt mostly remote, with the lightly traveled road not visible from the trail.
