Coastal Maine Trip, Day 1 (Camping and Hiking at Camden Hills State Park)

My son and I are on a multiday camping, hiking and photography trip on Maine's coast.   We started the trip after work today with a hike up Mt Battie to watch the sunset, and are camping at Camden Hills State Park.

Sadly the tower at the top of Mt Battie was closed off, but we still managed to get some good views of the setting sun as it colored the sky behind nearby Bald and Ragged Mountains.

As we walked down Mt Battie in the dark we saw dozens of fireflies and several bats.
