Bangor Water Works Road (Eddington)
Bangor Water Works Road is a 2.5 mile gated private paved road that restricts motorized vehicle access but permits non-motorized (i.e. walking and cycling) travel. The road is used by the Bangor Water Works to access the lakes which form a major part of Bangor's water supply.
The road is relatively well maintained and has a few hills on it, making for a very short but challenging bike ride. It leads to the small but scenic Snowshoe Pond.
