Long Pond Fire Road (Acadia National Park)

I was watching a friend's dog this afternoon so we (Lulah the dog and I) decided to visit Acadia National Park.  

Long Pond Fire Road was an excellent choice for a Saturday afternoon in July.   We hiked 2.2 miles roundtrip from Pine Hill to Duck Pond and did not see anyone else.  The road was wide making it easy to avoid ticks.
