Eaton Ridge and Eaton Kennebec River Preserves (Skowhegan)

I hiked at two Skowhegan preserves managed by the Somerset Woods Trustees land trust.  The Eaton Ridge and Eaton Kennebec River Preserves are located within a 1/4 mile of each other and combined make a nice hike.

I started by hiking the blue blazed trail at Eaton Ridge.  This was a short 0.64 mile loop trail through woods.  There were a few wooden bridges as the trail crossed small streams.  

The trail at the Eaton Kennebec River Preserve was longer (1.1 miles) and more scenic due to the river.   

The trails at both preserves were overgrown in sections with tall grass, so I'd recommend taking appropriate tick precautions.
