St. Albans Wildlife Management Area (St. Albans)
The 540-acre St. Albans Wildlife Management Area is managed by Maine Inland Fish and Wildlife (IFW) and consists of wetlands, scrub swamp and upland forest. I explored the area after work today to see if there were established trails after reading on IFW's website that hiking is among activities that can be performed there. There weren't any established trails, although a very short dirt road (0.1 miles) leads from the parking area further into the preserve. At the end of the road, I followed some game trails into the woods a short distance.
